Product Designer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Define and track design metrics to measure impact
• Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
• Contribute to brand guidelines and visual identity
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive design critiques

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product design experience at a tech company
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
• Solid understanding of design systems and component-based design
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for HR tech or marketplace platforms
• Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Illustration or iconography skills
• Experience working in a startup environment
